A tall red dresser with silver and white knobs

This little dresser gave me a bit of a headache, but I love it in red! It was a custom piece and the owners chose to have it painted in MMS tricycle, but after 3 coats and using most of the powder, the dresser just looked like it had a red stain. I matched the color in latex and used another 3 coats to get it to the color it is now. The texture of the grain shows through which is fun, and I paired these gorgeous silver and white knobs with it. It’s off, back to it’s home now.

A bit of a headache, eh? I'm thinking these vintage pieces are in a conspiracy lately to drive us DIYers crazy! Ha! It turned out great…and always, Reeves, love the knobs!

Red is so hard to get right, but you did it gorgeously! I'm featuring it in this week's PoPP Spotlight
