A Weathered Grey Cabinet with a Pop of Teal

February 11, 2014 By Reeves @ The Weathered Door 3 Comments

This cabinet had a bit of a mid century vibe to it which is not the route I went when painting it. I painted it a light grey by Country Chic Paint called Pebble Beach and used just one coat with some distressing to give it a weathered look. Inside there’s a punch of color with a pretty teal, in their color, Bliss. The whole thing was then lightly sanded and sealed with wax. It’s the perfect little cabinet for an narrow hallway or to use as a bookshelf and storage in a kids room.
